Limited Warranty Information (I/II)

 *Custom-built computers are warranted for one year from the purchase date and carry a (1) one-year limited hardware labor warranty. This means that for the first 30 thirty days after your purchase, our standard warranty is observed. (Labor and parts covered) Beyond this, we will service your machine and at our option (1) repair or (2) replace the faulty hardware at no cost to you. The standard labor rate will apply on repairs and services beyond (30) thirty days ASP Computers Sales & Service does offer extended warranties on systems, for a nominal fee, and must be purchased at the same time as the goods.
* Subject to all the terms and conditions of the manufacturer's warranty.

ASP Computers Sales & Service is not responsible for damages or costs that are the result of accidents, misuse, or abuse of your computer. Modifications or repairs made to your system by anyone other than ASP Computers Sales & Service will void your warranty. ASP Computers Sales & Service is not responsible for any losses or complications that arise as a result of a computer failure or a delay in production or repair of your system. *Please note, that any system left for longer than (30) thirty days will be sold for repair costs.


End-User Product Limited Warranty
This end-user limited warranty ("Warranty") is extended by ASP Computers Sales & Service to the original purchaser ("Purchaser") of the ASP Computers Sales & Service product ("Product") accompanied by this Warranty and is not transferable.

What is Covered
ASP Computers Sales & Service warrants the Product against defects in material or workmanship under normal use for the applicable warranty period ("Warranty Period"), beginning from the date of original purchase by Purchaser. If the Product becomes defective during the Warranty Period, ASP Computers Sales & Service will, at its option and without charge, repair the Product with new or reconditioned components or parts, or replace the Product with a reconditioned product of the same or functionally equivalent model. *See warranty statement above

*All warranty repairs or check-ups should be on the ASP Computers depot. And the Labor and on-site service should be through      

an optional separate service contract. *See the rate table below.


What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This Warranty does not cover and shall be void for defects or damages resulting from casualty, accident, transportation, misuse or abuse, neglect, alterations, Dirty components, service or repair by other than ASP Computers Sales & Service, improper installation, operation or maintenance, improper connections with peripherals, or other causes not arising out of defects in materials or workmanship. ASP Computers Sales & Service is not responsible for damage to or loss of any programs, data, or removable storage media, whether it occurs during warranty or other repair service.


Preinstalled or Bundled Software
ASP Computers Sales & Service make no warranty or representation, either express, implied or statutory, with respect to software provided with the Product and licensed to Purchaser, its quality, performance, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose Nor does ASP Computers Sales & Service warrant that the functions contained in the software will be uninterrupted or error-free. The software is provided "AS IS", except if expressly warranted by the licensor in the applicable software license agreement, and is subject to the terms and conditions of the software license agreement contained in or accompanying the software. In no event will ASP Computers Sales & Service be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any defect in the software or its documentation, even if advised of the possibility of such damages

Exclusions

This Service Plan does not include: (1) Installation or set-up of the Equipment; (2) Service needed as a result of moving the

Equipment; (3) Damage to the exterior surface or housing of the Equipment; (4) Problems resulting from negligence, misuse,

abuse, or other physical casualty to the Equipment: improper maintenance; electrical disturbances; acts of nature; or work,

attachments, additions, alterations, or modifications by persons other than authorized ASP Computers service providers: (5) Service needed as a result of improper operating environment: (6) Any problem not involving a defect in the Equipment hardware, including, but not limited to, software problems and errors, programming problems and errors, software

incompatibility problems, software installation problems and errors, and operating system problems and errors: (7) Any problem that cannot be solved by replacement of defective Equipment hardware: (8) Use of any item with the Equipment if the item is not designated for use with the Equipment; or (9) Any computer system that is not fully functional at the time it is purchased and installed by Customer.

 

Limited Warranty Information (II/II)


ASP Computers is not liable for any damages caused by the use or the failure of the product to perform, including any lost profits, lost savings, incidental damage, or consequential damages. This limitation applies whether damages are sought, or a claim is made, This limitation can't be waived. ASP Computers makes no other warranties expressed or implied. Service charges are subject to change without notice. ASP Computers reserves the right to make improvements or changes to this document and the procedures and policies mentioned herein at any time without notice or obligation.

 

Data Storage Media
the only effective protection for data stored in a computer, such as on a hard drive, is the regular backing up of that data by you, the Purchaser. If during the warranty service or repair of the Product, the contents of the hard drive or any other data storage media are altered, deleted, modified, or lost, ASP Computers Sales & Service is not responsible. It is solely your responsibility as the Purchaser to back up any software programs, data, or information stored on any storage media or any part of a Product returned for warranty service or repair to ASP Computers Sales & Service.

 

Please do your own backups and data recovery. Under no circumstances (either expressed verbally or otherwise) are we responsible for your data.
*If you are experiencing difficulty with your computer please remember that we did not personally or intentionally cause the problems you are having. 98% of all problems are caused by the software installed in computers. Please be patient and we will work with you to help solve them in any way we can.

 

♦ General Service includes the following with a Service Contract: Hard drive defrag, help using your

   computer, and email setup, The hourly rate is reduced, and the first 1 hour per month is free.

♦ The price of the service contract per month for each PC with a minimum of 3 months,

   due upfront.

♦ The trip charge still applies for each trip made to the location and is due upon arrival.

♦ The service contract includes the above General Services, plus: current year virus protection, an initial 

   scan for threats on the location computer, free diagnostics of the location computer for any issues, and free

   tech support within business hours.

♦ We can arrange to pick up your computer bring it back and set it up for a fixed charge.
   this fee must be paid in advance, The hourly rate that we are working at your home or office.   

♦ As we have a large business base, we will respond to your service call within 1 business day.
